| Mid-level Struts Java Developer
|
Job Responsibilities:
The role of the Software Engineer will include the following responsibilities
• Design and develop new features in web application running on Tomcat Application server and Postgres Database
• Develop automated tests, helping to improve software quality through software process and test automation
• Work with geographically distributed customers in an agile environment
• Document existing code base for reference and troubleshooting
Basic Qualifications:
• 4-5 years of solid JAVA experience
• 2-3 years experience with Struts
• 2 years experience with Hibernate
• 1 year experience with JQuery
Ideal Qualifications:
• Knowledge of support, call center telecom environments a plus
• Software design experience using Object Oriented patterns
• Experience designing and developing database applications using SQL
• Experience with having primary responsibility for tackling a software/application bug
