Leading Enterprise Mobility Provider Educates, Promotes and Encourages Proper Recycling of Mobile Devices

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct.31, 2007 -- Movêro Technology, Inc. The launch of the expanded program consists of two components; free wireless disposal and certified data destruction. As global awareness for eco-friendly lifestyles and corporate responsibility continues to grow, Movero developed the program in conjunction with a local recycling company that specializes in recycling mobile e-waste.

The free wireless disposal program is a way to give back to the Earth at no cost to the company. Upon request, a Movêro recycle box is shipped free of charge to the requesting company for convenient employee access. When the box is full, the company sends an email to Movêro to arrange pickup. Movêro then sends a pre-paid return label to the company to ship the box directly to the recycling facility. The recycling facility has received certifications from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Environmental Protection Agency.

The data destruction program provides Movêro customers a way to recycle devices that contain sensitive company information. Phones go through multi-step process that can include phone memory wipe, drilling to physically destroy the memory chip and free recycling. Participants of the data destruction program receive a ‘Certificate of Destruction’ for company records and auditing. (This program charges a service fee to cover the extra certification costs beyond regular recycling.)
